Founded in 2000 in Winsted, Minnesota, Advanced Process Technologies, Inc. established its headquarters in Cokato and currently employs over 100 personnel throughout our five manufacturing facilities with a total of over 100,000 square feet. With three locations in Minnesota, one in Idaho and our most recent addition in California. With our state-of-the-art facilities and highly qualified team, we are well equipped to serve our customers.

In 2006, our first Advanced Cheese Vat (ACV) was developed and installed to provide the industry with a design proven to enhance cheese yields and provide performance that is unsurpassed in cheesemaking operations. With this product line expansion, also came a 10,000 square foot addition to our facility enabling our manufacturing team to increase production and also aided in the design and manufacturing of additional capital equipment. With (3) US patents, the Advanced Cheese Vat is a signature piece of equipment designed and manufactured by APT. Since our first ACV customers in 2006, we have worked closely with a multitude of plants throughout the US and Canada to design, fabricate and install our ACV’s .

In 2010, APT announced the merger with Advanced Automation – Page, NE whose core business is electrical engineering, providing automation controls, programming, hardware and software services. This merger allowed APT Inc. to provide our customer base with further success in project execution by formalizing an already successful business relationship with a company that carries an excellent track record of servicing and supporting our customers. APT Inc. has always strived to be the best at what we do. We feel that this is an evolving process which requires “raising the bar” to stay the best. With an electrical controls/automation staff of over twenty five, our capabilities not only include the automation of our own equipment but also we have the talent, size, and experience to automate and integrate our customers entire process.

2011 – Jerome, Idaho location established to serve growing Western market

2011 – Jerome, Idaho location established to serve growing Western market

In 2011, APT announced the opening of a new location in Jerome, ID to better serve the growing Western market with the ultimate goal to better serve customers. This location is staffed with Mechanical, Process and Electrical/Automation Engineers, as well as, Field Installers. In 2012, we completed an expansion of the Jerome, ID location which provided APT Inc. with more office and shop space which allows us to offer an inventory of material for customer’s needs.

In 2014, APT successfully manufactured and installed its first four Advanced Finishing Vats (AFV’s). The AFV is an instrumental part of APT’s line of cheesemaking equipment as we continue to be committed to customer needs for product consistency with increased profits. APT’s new enclosed AFV’s are available in several sizes to meet the demands of high volume production plants. Typically utilized in high volume stirred curd production plants, our AFV’s will generate labor savings through increased thru-put, reduced maintenance, and automatic CIP cleaning.

2014 – Second Minnesota Facility Opens

2014 – Second Minnesota Facility Opens

APT’s commitment to complete customer satisfaction was enhanced in 2014 with the expansion of a second Minnesota location. This new 15,000 square foot facility increased APT’s production area by 30% and includes a brand new sandblasting area, which allows APT to sandblast large pieces of equipment. The addition of the sandblast booth allows us to keep all aspects of the stainless steel fabrication process in-house which in turn creates savings for APT and our customers.

2015 marked sixteen years in business, APT’s dynamic team continues to grow with the addition of a fourth facility in Visalia, California to ensure our customers will continue to receive quality products with on-time delivery. President Craig Campbell states, “Providing conceptual designs, engineered solutions and a full line of cheesemaking equipment solidifies our position in the food and dairy industry. We are very excited about the future of APT. As our industry continues to grow, we will continue to expand to meet the demands of our customers.”

2017 – Minnesota Campus Expands by 40,000 Square Feet

APT’s expansion includes a new 40,000 sq ft building focused on adding space for manufacturing stainless steel equipment consisting of, Cheese Vats, Enclosed Finishing Tables, Crystallizers, Processors, CIP Tanks, Decks and Packaging Equipment. Vice President of Manufacturing, Tanner Patterson stated “Restructuring of current locations, and utilization of the new production space will optimize current assets, increase productivity and efficiencies throughout the company.” ͟ With this most recent expansion, APT now occupies five major buildings totaling over 100,000 sq ft of state-of-the-art manufacturing and production space. APT is and always has been committed to customer satisfaction. Since 2000, they have helped customers grow their business and profits. Perfecting performance and increasing efficiencies is a standard goal of APT’s Products and Services and this expansion will ensure they continue to meet the demands of their customers.
